Is anyone on the Fern responsible for this page? It’s bare bones right now, but interesting nonetheless

@ACT-Crusader geez, had forgotten completely about Nathan Harris! Will be interesting to see what kind of form he can produce.

A number of youngsters have emerged this year.
Here are a few who are springing to my mind.

Lord (Taranaki) : carries a lot and more strongly than his lean frame would suggest. However, he should add a few kgs to that frame.
Kneepkens (Taranaki) : great finisher and solid all round player. He's really fast.
Parsons (Hawke's Bay) : not very young but he is the type of player who won't let you down. He's big and strong and I don't understand why midget locks have been selected and not him.
Boult (Manawatu) : a hard man to stop. Physical winger.
Finau (Waikato) : more a 6 than a lock IMO. He drives hard.

      @cgrant

Josh Lord is already part of the Chiefs system having played in a preseason game and being involved in trainings. It's only a matter of time until he gets a full contract because 2 m+ locks aren't easy to find. With 2 locks having left there are spaces available for 2021. Brown is not a lock so they should be picking specialists.

As a neutral I find your posts very anti-Canterbury...

Agree with @Duluth, Choat should be high on a couple of SR franchises as a good back up openside that could cover 6 in an emergency.

I am not anti-Canterbury as I am a neutral (French). I had doubts about Newell. Is he already signed ?

Norris has played a few games with the Chiefs during the SRA.
I forgot Roe. He is one to watch next year.

Jacob Norris from Ta$man looks very good (brother of Ollie from Chiefs?). Most of the top suspects noted above. But, Kaylum Boshier, Jared Adams, Valance Te Whare, Rameka Poihipi, Chad Elton, Charles Alaimalo all show something worth a closer look. Would like to see Regan Ware in super rugby too.

Xavier Cowley-Tuioti is 1.94m and 117kg, so the Chiefs will probably pick him up as a lock.

Surely there is someone shorter out there they could go for. Kaylum Boshier played lock for Taranaki - he's about 190cm.

Picking any NH player in the Chiefs is so 1996. Stevenson should consider himself very lucky.

After a quiet start to the season, Lincoln McClutchie is getting better and better. With our shortage of good 10s in NZ, it would be stupid if he doesn't get signed, this year.

                            Some possibles from Harbour:

                            Jimmy Roots
                            Tim Sail
                            Thomas Aoake
                            Lewis Gjaltema

                            Nic Mayhew might return.

He does have a touch of the Ihaia West about him. Could get himself a SR contract, but I wouldn’t go as far as say stupid if not picked up given he’s only 20 years old.
