Yup. His movies are generally regarded as the high point of Trek, especially with the original cast.

Watched the first series of Banshee yesterday. It wasn't too bad i guess. Plenty violent, bit of titty, fairly fun low-brow entertainment.

TWD: Am really liking that Jesus dude. First thought he was some kind of demented hippy but he is some kind of super commando. TBH I wouldn't have a problem if they offed Glen this season. He was much more fun as the geeky runner than the jaded war veteran with the 1000 yard stare. The guy I don't want to die is the gay dude who found and brought the group to the settlement. I don't think his partner would survive for much longer without him.

[spoiler]It was a good plan to get the hostage out. (Although I would have probably just used Gregory's actual head, to avoid any chance of failure).
 
But after that it wasn't smart.
 
They've got no lack of gasoline, no lack of ammo, probably the ability to make IEDs (Eugene etc), even a freakin' RPG.
 
So why are they trying to infiltrate a facility where they only have the most basic of knowledge of the layout like they are SEAL team six or something?
 
Just spread a few homemade bombs around, burn the place to the ground, and then shoot the f*ckers with your automatic weapons from range when they come out.
 
Still no sign of Negan. Looks like he has multiple camps. Pretty major fuck up not to consider that possibility.[/spoiler]

The plan to kill them in their sleep was a decent one until that guy caught them and tripped the alarm, the guy who said Rick is scary is right. Loved the scene last week when he killed that guy ,stood up ,looked at the strangers surrounding him and said "what?".

The ranga annoys me...he was punching well above his station with that girl he had, but breaks up with her claiming he was only with her cos he thought she was like the last woman on earth kinda deal!

I think even in a post apocalyptic world you don't expect someone to trick your guards with one of the three zombie heads they dismembered and punched in the face post mortem , but yeah there was always the chance one of those people was a light sleeper and they were going to get busted .
 
Your plan is way better but I think it was done more for effect, to show what they had become -killing people they didn't know in their sleep. Only really Glenn seemed troubled by it, Rick would have slept like a baby afterwards.
 
If the ranga does get it hopefully they show more of his ex, she wears very little most of the time and since Ricks milfy girlfriend got eaten theres only really Maggie.
