good luck waiting - I'm on the lookout for a stockist too as my current rig is getting long in the tooth (i9 7920X, 64G DDR4,

Just upgrading, I have a 7700k OCed to 5.1GHz, 16GB RAM, SSD so good enough for another few years. I generally miss a lot of CPU gens but every second or so GPU gen. Replacing 1080Ti

That card is a beast. Finally had a chance to use it on a good monitor

Far Cry 5 ultra settings at 4k was consistently getting ~100 frames (rare low of 84 and as high as 117). Dropping to 1440p and it was always above 170 and never got near 144

Yeah I am playing CoD, even with my oldish 7700K, at 1440P well in the hundreds. That is rendering at 4k, too!

not some big epic game but i have been having some fun in the switch online store

just played "Unravel" and for AU$9 it was a lot of fun,

downloaded another game the other night on 60% off ($8) so even if i only get a couple of hours fun out of it then all good

@Kiwiwomble I think there's a thread called something like "Gaming / VR" - which kinda became the de-facto nerd-game thread.

Machinarium - I think I got that as part of some Humble-Bundle some time ago - gave up on it a couple of times... finally "clocked" it during lockdown. With the aid of heaps of cheating.

@Kruse @Machpants finished it, definitely some puzzles i needed assistance.

one of the puzzles i had to look up, found several videos showing the solution....but none actually explained how to work it out other than trial and error, another couple required repeating the same action 3-5 times and then something would happen, wouldn't have worked that out as there didn't seem to be anything encouraging you to keep repeating it, i got to the Band without having to look anything up

...so, just saw the Rugby Challenge 4 is coming out on the Switch, i might be wrong but i heard t isn't the best game...but its been so long since i played a rugby game i think i;ll be picking it up

Anyone got the PC version of Cyberpunk yet? What sort of performance are you getting? Is it too buggy, worth waiting for another patch?

@Duluth I’m waiting for a few more patches, games like that always better after a couple. It is not like a MP game when you have to get in before the number dwindle in NZ/Oz

Works well on an Xbox Series X, only one mini game bug I've hit so far that I was able to get past.

Overwelming amount of content in the game.
