The final series of Banshee starts on April 1 in the US. Hopefully they go out with a bang as they knew the series was wrapping up before they started filming

Given what I remember of the current situation all sorts of hell will break loose.
-

Yeah it ended with
Jobe being taken I think after they hit the military base to rescue the chick.

Is probably the right time to bow out, otherwise I think theyd need to try and change the format to give some longevity.

Is a good fun watch.
-

Does anybody watch BBC's Happy Valley? The 2nd to last episode of series 2 was on the other day and I have to say it's the first time in a long while I've been stunned silent by a fictional TV program. It ended with a scene that I simply did not see coming, which takes some doing from a programme that doesn't pull any punches.

-

Yeah, I wasn't sure how they would get a second series out of it with the series 1 villain in prison but they have and it's excellent. It's the mark of good writing that in when episode 1 started there was no indication at all that we'd be where we ended up in episode 5. Sarah Lancashire is great once again, but there are some other great performances too. Molesley from Downton Abbey plays a detective who's gone off the rails big time, Shirley Henderson is a creepy stalker, and Neville Longbottom from Harry Potter plays an alcoholic waster and some other minor characters come into their own as the series goes on.

mighthave to seek it out, as we enjoyed S1.

I will miss it, and need to find a suitable substitute. Not too deep, a bit violent and hot female actors too
-
Yeah you knew Carol was just biding her time, but she is struggling, her and Darryl need some alone time, although she did get some with someone last week didn't she.

I think she did. I'm sure this isn't the end of Negan though, I think theres two episodes left.
-

well looking at the IMDB page, there is a brief plot summary for the first ep of next season (Oct) that mentions Negan....

Like Glenn and that other dude last week, killing uninfected people is harder to deal with than walkers, even if it is simply for survival.
-
Yeah I thought they might have bluffed the fans by casting that guy and making Alicia Witt Negan instead but it looks like they are staying true to the book.

Rick gives zero fucks about anyone outside his group, I like how they are playing that. -

well to survive I think you would need at least 1 person who cant put the moral and emotional BS aside and just do it, even Maggie seems to be hardening up as well.

Carol is an interesting one given how hard she has been until then, maybe she saw herself like Witt's character and didn't like it?

Have to think a major character is gonna buy it soon though.
-

Good old Banshee, must be comforting for Hood ( and the others with big parts ) to know that no matter how concussed, shot, stabbed, beaten or sodomised they get at any one time it's nothing that can't be fixed with a stiff drink at Sugars followed by a night of rooting/sleeping. They're always right as rain the next morning.

Pretty certain my brain checked out early on in season one when Hood somehow managed to beat an MMA champ half to death with his bare hands.
-

You can sure check your brain out for most of the plot but as has been said many times excess violence and T&A, make it a good watch.

In that respect it isn't a lot different to GoT
-

Must be pretty scary for normal folk to enter Banshee knowing how many indestructible fighting machines live there. I think the writers overdo that a bit, I mean the punishment that Kai and his weird mate with glasses can endure is nothing short of ridiculous.
-

I echo the words of TR Jnr when he was 4 and someone asked him if watching Jurassic Park scared him - he looked at them like they were stupid and said 'It isn't real!' :idiot2:

I hear you but if it's set in modern times ( although the town is finctional of course ) maybe ya expect more realism.

Maybe I just struggle to believe that the douche from outrageous fortune is capable of kicking ass like he does.
