Hard luck to our lads, never gave up, story of our season was our decision making, but have the makings of a better team!
@taniwharugby yeah best team all season.
Got to say that our backline looks awful with Hawkins at 1st. He is so passive and behind the game line.
In the second half we just needed some cool heads to slow things down and get to the next set piece. But too many 50 50 choices after you haven’t had the ball just turn it over.
Tua has come of age. Gregory is still not a fullback but will be great player in time.

Well deserved champions Magpies. They looked a level above the rest of the Championship.
Northland have to be happy with their season. Got the most of their squad.
@KiwiMurph yeah 5 weeks ago, I thought we were gonna be lucky to make the top 4, let alone the final.
I said semi was par for this squad, final is a decent result, just lacking the finish, a few players who as a fan, I cant see why they are there
BUt its if we can build on this is the key!!
