39 degrees outside. Absolutely fuck playing rugby in this weather.

This country eh? If the animals or plants aren't trying to kill you, it just tries to burn you alive instead.

    And it'll be hotter tomorrow!

    πŸ₯΅

Our rented apartment has no aircon so am sweating my bollocks off!

Fucked. I've got the thermostat set to 26C to minimise cost but it's a bastard.

Parts of outback NSW, SA, and QLD are due for record temps today. We are talking 45c+and even 47+

Some of them have doubled the numbers of days over 40 this year.

You're not out west are you?

TBH, I don't find this weather that bad (I like the heat which probably contibutes a lot to my hatred of Palmy πŸ˜‰ ) - I went for an hour long walk when it was supposedly 40deg and it was fine.

I also hate aircon, the actual worst thing about my job is the aircon.

In Manly. Apartment gets no ocean breeze though so all windows shut. Fans on but doing nothing. Much sweating.

I have my slider door open. πŸ˜‰

About to walk up to a mates place for delayed Thanksgiving dinner so will probably get a sweat on as there's a couple of slight inclines.

Weird, when I lived in Manly (fairlight) it was always much cooler than in the city.

Ah well, good luck at keeping cool.

I've told them I'm leaving at 7:45pm with one of our other mates to watch the game at his place.

The party hosts are an American chick and a Palestinian guy so rugby isn't high on their priority list - but they know it's high on mine.

Anyway, the A game of the weekend was last night. πŸ˜‰

Typically the coast including City will be cooler than out here but not today due to one of those occasional weather systems that kills the ocean breeze.

    Won't get below 28C tonight.

Stop exaggerating Nick. We can clearly see a brief period of 26 degrees at 11pm before heating up again to 29 by 2am...

Surely no air con is illegal in Australia?

There are some houses in western Sydney that don't even have ceiling insulation.
