Good win considering how much ball we kicked away. Especially when it continued into the second half.

It's hard to take much away from that match. 10 changes for Argentina and their 3rd game on the trot. Good way to finish the season but I'm glad some of the young guys will get another year of Super rugby under their belt before taking on some of the big boys (pending covid allowing that to happen)

Not sure why players who score points at the end of the test match are treated like gods.

I guess simply because the players can unload all their channeled energy at the end of the game

Jordan can play that fullback wing role they want. With him and Clarke on the wings, that’s sorted.

And Jordie at FB. Back three sorted

As frustrating as the back line 50/50s were they perhaps did their job in the game. That RG defense pattern was the best I’ve seen for 60 mins and we had to do something to make them guess. We were never going through or around them.

Be nice if he put more pressure on the ref. He just needed to say you going to check them dumping me on the head?

Really like the improvement in composure & patience in this game, particularly when things weren't going their way. Far less whooping and hooping - just got on with game. Senior players deserve a lot of the credit for that.

Really solid forward performance all-round. Backs need some serious thought. Mo'unga is just too inconsistent for me, BB's kicking didn't work out and not convinced by Goodhue at 13.

Another plus - the JB experiment has to end now.

Yes I thought that too - with SB at lock, he was nuch more solid and composed than he ever was at 6

@kpkanz he’s not better than Jordie at Fullback. JB is getting a lot of stick on here, but he didnt choose to play wing. Foster’s ignorance is preventing him from getting time in his preferred position. Hope he gets more of a chance there in 2021.

End of the season and what have we learnt? Akira is clearly the best 6 in New Zealand. Massive effort tonight and my MoTM.

Ardie's athleticism is a huge plus in the final quarter, but Sotutu needs to start.

Will Jordan is a shoe-in for the right wing spot. He has the golden touch Beaudy had.

Long term Rieko is a centre, just needs more time in SR to hone the positional awareness. Some good competition coming through too.

At 12 the coaches need to identiify the type of player they're after because as good as Goodhue is, he doesn't distribute.

Mo'unga is still a flat track bully.

There was a lot to like about the All Black game tonight. Patience, options, controlled aggression and set piece work. For all that people complained about the kicking in the first half, it's necessary to stop a rush defence. This sort of work pays off late in the game and it clearly did tonight.

Admittedly the accuracy of the kicks needs work, but it's a valid strategy.

Sam needs to work on his communication with the refs, getting in their mind about what to look at. Perhaps Fitzy could come in as a consultant.
