Funny, I went SUP boarding with my daughters class today, on the way I saw several current flags, several of the proposed, 1 of the blue/red lockwood and one of the green koru design too!

Firstly, what on earth is SUP boarding?

Yep, I've noticed a few of the other choices around the place too.

I picked up my AB flag to take back to Oz today still with the piece of black tape I use to cover up the AB words when supporting other NZ teams.

Agree,

After changing my mind a couple of times, seeing the new flag flying at a couple of places around town has convinced me it's the better option.

You are probably right. Key got Cullen to head the enquiry into the sis and gcsb to avoid leftards frothing about it being a whitewash . I think he missed a trick not making someone the leftards like the face of the campaign . Helen Clark would have been my pick .

Can't wait for this process to be over, so much bs...although I suspect if somehow the proposed flag gets through there will be more wailing and gnashing than if the current one remains.

Tv 1 also need a kick up the arse talking about 'Keys pet project', they also had a vexologist on and he said the fern has too many fronds coming from it and it must be able to be drawn by a 5 year old.

He did say one positive I guess, in that flags should be easily distinguishable from distance, which the NZ/Aus flag isn't always (although I've never put much weight into this part of the debate)

I wish they had asked the vexologist what qualifications he had.

Then the next story they went with they talked about how John Key was throwing money at looking for oil.

Cracks me up when leftards claim our right wing media is against them when they just report stuff like Littles idiot behaviour last week , compare that to TRs quote or what Katie Bradford came out with in the last election. There's no way a five year old could draw the vexillologist flag or is theirs exempt ?

Any 5 yo can draw a fern: draw a line with other lines coming off it. Close enough. Ask them to draw a union jack properly ... reckon you'd get a criss cross in a rectangle. Next to impossible to get the proportions of the various crosses of the various saints and their overlaps etc etc. And how many points would you get on the stars? Stoopid argument.
