For years I have being hearing about Conway the domestic run scoring beast. Personally I don't care if other people were previously in front of him due to residential status and the politically right thing to do is follow protocol. If the guy is that good and has the most recent runs on the board, pick the best player. I am sure others have a different opinion? Am I wrong though? Is Young better?

Its not like we play tests that regularly as it is, I hope Young comes out and score a double ton as I have nothing against him, purely about just pick the best player if available

How do you know it was planned?
Kane comes across as a player that would plan, how do we know it is Kane's baby?
now there is a story..Here's an interesting story about KW that many might not know. He has a twin brother. Granted our best batsman averages over 50 I'd happily have his twin slot in at 4, average a touch under 42, play with more flair but less concentration and potentially have an unhealthy interest in horse racing.

Anyone having trouble with the cricinfo website not working properly, or is it just me?
Not a great first session 82/3 with both Latham and Rossco back in the hutch.
Nichols needs a big one here IMO, feels like forever since he scored runs.

Unfathomable that they are not playing Conway in this test. He is 29, we aren’t talking about a young rookie here that needs to be eased into the test arena.

Young's first class record has been very good over the last few years so you can understand why Stead has been loyal and chosen him ahead of Conway. Nicholls might be the player who Conway eventually replaces (leftie for leftie).
