Now You See Me
Odd movie. All star ensemble cast, and a pretty good interesting plot. But super super shitty bollocks ending. If they merged the content revealed in the last scene into the previous one with Freeman then it would be worthy of a full extra star. Isla Fisher hasn't aged overly well either in my view, but still some decent eye candy. Superb performance by Eisenberg, not an actor I'm super familiar with (basically Superbad only) but he really pulls it off. Caine, Freeman excellent as usual.
3.5 Eyes out of 5 Shit Endings.
Ha ha. You’ve made the same mistake as I have before and confused Eisenberg with John Cera.

Wow, I have too! I was sure it was the same bloke.
How about this. Consider myself educated.

I really enjoyed the first one, bit of a different twist on the Heist movie, second one falls over

the only way I can see this coming is short cameos, Holland jumping through different realities and briefly interacting, too ambitious to get them all properly involved in the main plot imo

Worked pretty well in Into the Spiderverse

@Kirwan yeah, but I think people can be a bit more forgiving with an animated film, we also didn't see the other supermen's love interests explaining the sipermen turning up in the MCU is a story...explaining their dead love interests could be VERY complicated, also not sure they would want to tell exactly the same story as into the siperverse , could be wrong, just a vibe

Goin to be super hard to pull off, kind of cool they are trying.

@Stockcar86 I'll join the wagon - the precis is weird and intriguing as fuck, and the trailer looks awesome.
Here's hoping it's a direct-to-torrent release. -

Savage - apparently Inspired by the true stories of New Zealand's street gangs in the 60's, 70's and 80's
Follows 'Damage' who is the Savage's enforcer. Story starts with him as an adult, then we see bits of him growing up in his early teens and then late teens.
I recall there being some chatter about this movie when it was made, with the usual nancies moaning about it glorifying gang culture.
Far from it really, instead highlights the brutal nature of gangs, and the varied paths of some people that end up in them.
