Phillips pointed it out in his post innings interview that their tactic would be to bowl a lot of slower balls.
It was obvious to every man and his blind dog but they just haven’t done it.

Aside from Southee the bowling has been so far below par tonight it’s not funny.

The margin of error at McLean Park is so small given the short boundary. Pressure on the bowlers to get it right or it usually goes the distance.
