    @MN5 groin still not 100%.

    Also don't change a winning team

    We did after two innings thrashing’s in a row cos Santner is the Jordie Barrett of cricket.

    Actually he triggers me as much as Mitch Marsh does to you. Must be the name.

    Burns just got a duck from 10 balls after looking rubbish to admittedly good fast bowling.

    Warner back for third test thanks waiter.

    @KiwiMurph got Smith again just trying to push it. He’s a class bowler Ashwin, even on an MCG deck that doesn’t really give much.

    That's 100% the wrong call.

    India absolutely fucked over.

    Based on the technology available that was the only call.

    Surely we can have HDR cameras for this?

    @KiwiMurph can't see the back of the bat from that shot. Benefit of the doubt.

    If you've got one shot that puts the batsman in and another that shows them maybe out, what do you go with?

    HDR cameras. The answer is "you go with HDR cameras"

    @NTA look how far the bail is off - it doesn't take a genius to figure out that the bail came off before the bat crossed the line.

    This temporary increase to three reviews has shown that 2 is definitely the right amount. That was definitely a tactical based on match situation, similar to the one against labuschagne earlier this week.

    @Cyclops at least unlike rugby TMO it doesn't take much time.

    Ok but he's safe in the other shot, so you don't have conclusive proof that is the case.

    @NTA it's actually not clear he is safe on that angle either - its the shadow of the bat causing an illusion.

    @KiwiMurph blades of grass.

    That's why we need HDR. Surely even smaller nations can afford 2-4 of those per game to remove the doubt

    Not sure you could get a more impressive debut with the bat than what Gill just produced. Class.
