Wow that's bad from Smith. Just after Ponting cursed him by saying he looked good

His and Bus changes averages truly fucked now too. Great for Kane

Yeah that's the Test right there. Short of one of those two finding firm, we don't have the runs in this lineup.

@NTA wouldn't be so sure. India have lost a frontline bowler.

Could be right to be honest. Both are due a slump and cricket can be a fluffybunny of a game like that

While Ashwin and Bumrah are still there, Australia are stuffed.

Tactic is Ashwin one end all day with a break provided by Jadeja if needed.

Rotate the two remaining quicks at the other end

Would make a compelling series if India can wrap this one up that’s for sure.

( said as a Black Caps fan stuck with yet another shitty two test ‘series’ )

Real shame Yadav got hurt because he looked to be troubling the Aussie batters.

Intriguing match this. Could Wade pull off a match saving innings and also save his test spot?

@KiwiMurph always impatient. Burns energy and then fatigue.

Was that a near identical dismissal for Head to how Siraj got him in the first innings?

That must've been the faintest of edges for Tim.

@NTA why is Starc not batting at 8 ? he's pretty capable, more so than Cummins I woulda thought.

@MN5 Starc is a slugger. Cummins will try to bat. So will Lyon and Hoff

Fair enough, similar to Wags batting ahead of Timmy in some cases I suppose. I just looked at 10 fifties ( High score of 99, bummer ) and he looks decent based on those numbers.

Well, a team that got skittled for 36 certainly has no right to be complacent but it would take a massive fuck up for them to lose from here.
