Chickens coming home to roost for Australia, who are completely reliant on 2 players to score all their runs.

Their all-time attack means they are never out of tests, but as an opposition bowling unit you only have to put all your time in to 2 players. And Warner if it's in aus (which is why they are super vulnerable overseas). And if marnus turns out.to be not a long term gun they are in trouble

Wade, burns and head wouldn't make the black caps. Green either. Paine is gutsy but limited (looks a good keeper.and skipper though).

    Fucking Australians.
A sports-starved year and once again it's all over in three and a bit days!
    Fluffybunnies!

At about $4,500 a day for 3½ days the poor inept lads are doing alright, that'll ease their pain.

That's just the home Test fee - there's also part of the $550,000 annual contract fee for merely turning up on time at Marriotts and Sheratons at exotic locations around the world. Good work if you can get it, eh?

18 new community transmission cases today. There will be more, so this seems like an interesting move.

@NTA yeah i'd suggest Melb will continue to prepare to be ready - I can see the decision changing.

Yep. Investment banker, former NSW premier, and soon-to-be Cricket Australia board member Mike Baird was instrumental in ensuring the match stayed in Sydney. - SMH

You couldn't find a more stuffed suit. Should've stayed in Melbourne (or gone for a fast, bouncing deck in Perth - although India would never allow that).

Burns dropped as Warner, Pucovski return for Aussies | cricket.com.au

Australia have omitted out-of-form opener Joe Burns with fellow openers David Warner and Will...

    Loved this bit:

Fast bowler Sean Abbott will also re-join the Test squad after recovering from a calf strain.

    Good luck chuck.

@NTA The last four of that lineup are awesome. Only a couple of the first 7 are proven, depending on the day for results. TBF Paine is a good keeper and his batting is sound.

It is still a great team and I would back them in Aus any day.

Yes. No doubt the Indian attack will say nothing but he'll have a fair bit of short stuff directed his way

@NTA dunno. Thought you were having a sook. Couldn't work out why you thought the Indians would say nothing. Thought you were smearing them again when they've got nothing to do with puckowski.
Figured that even a silverfern XI with Mariner opening the bowling (because he's tall and skinny) would try to bounce puckowski, it's that obvious. Still don't know why you brought the Indians into it😒
