[Paekakboyz]

@Rancid-Schnitzel try 113kg at 176cm!! Then again I'm an ex-prop and that was during my powerlifting phase. Mid-high 90's now after slaying kai and beer during the holidays and back on the path to low 90's which is my target weight.

If you were a LH you must have given a few of those 6' 2" THs a few problems at scrum time!

That would make sense because it is the normal height . Pity I had zero ability to concentrate at the crease. Once I hit my first 6 I didn’t see the point in singles after that.

Hayden, Pietersen, Graeme Smith......hard to name many

Definitely an issue with the Waughs.....Mark was noticeably taller which meant Steve was better.

That explains a lot. SMS (not the phone sort).

If you play cricket and are tall, you generally get pushed in the direction of fast bowling. If you are short you get pushed towards batting. Not hard to see how it works. KJ is an example, ex opening batsman, now fast bowler.

Not too many tall half backs or short locks either (unless you play for the 'canes).

Bradman, Tendulkar, Gavaskar, Lara, Steve Smith, Sir Kane, Kohli, Miandad, Barrington all under 5' 10". Steve Waugh, Ponting and Richards 5' 10'.

Actually you said "great". Thought that it would get mentioned - but I had nothing. So a liberal interpretation of "good".

Average height of a Kiwi male is still only 1.78 (and we are considered tall by world standards). Steyn is 1.79 apparently and Marshal was 1.8 so not short.

I am very suspicious of Danny Morrison being 1.88 which rules him out too (regardless of how good he was).

So fast bowlers under 1.78?
