He’s still no Bill Cosby who at last count had more knockouts than Muhammad Ali
For sure. Likeable might be a stretch for Bob.
The thing about actors is if they don't want their own lives looked at, maybe they should STFU about other peoples, and their political views. Just get on with the acting already, we don't care what you think, I don't know you.
GOM.Word to this post. Nothing worse than some multi millionaire preaching how to live your life and having a go at Trump. Meryl Streep is horrific for this type of shit as it Bono and Bob Geldof.
Maybe it’s some sort of Irish thing ?
They seem to have a penchant for the preachy dramatic style. "I could have doied" springs to mind.
If we want to here from you we will ask - I have never asked.Yeah fuck the Irish.....and the Welsh and above all the English.
Done!
Cheers,
Covid. -

@MN5 this is not the post I expected. I’ll leave it there...
In other news Wonder woman 198....who gives a fuck was shit. Well acted but the story sucked and the execution was worse. Gadot still hot even though Linda Carter was other worldly hot and shits all over the new model. Pedro Pascal was wasted as a bad guy and who else thought it was weird that Steve came to be how he did. Well done to Kristen Wiig for cementing her place as hot, funny and criminally under used and underrated. The best part is the opening 10 min.
1 Junior Wonder Woman out of 5 body snatchers
I hate it when we fight too bro, but I can't say I like something just to make you happy, that's not how relationships work.

Doctor Sleep - if you don't have kids is pretty good

You've tried it both with and without kids? Dedication right there.

@Bones
Watched it last week, realized whilst watching it that some scenes would have had minimal effect prior to kids. But seen as my kids are 7 and 9 they hit home.
I'm very critical of movies - so much that it's hard for me to enjoy when a good movie chucks in some bullshit scene to tick a box - this movie may not be perfect but it had me on edge and I have no criticism for it.
I just don't get why directors feel the need to add bullshit ie I loved the matrix but without the betrayal scene - it was totally unnecessary -

Well we're past Blade Runner so I'm gonna make sure to be extremely wary of anyone with eyes that glow in certain light and are super strong.
Speaking of which I made myself sit through Blade Runner 2049 again. Definitely made a bit more sense and I enjoyed it more. Beautifully shot but still full of flaws......

@MN5 ok, sorry, hopefully the correction fixes things
I will clarify, the only people I have heard that even saw it were Blade Runner fans to start with and they all seemed to like how well is has an almost identical vibe as the original, other than the CGI they could have been filmed back to back
but then I know a lot of people who never bothered to see it and maybe they would have seen more faults

Haha yes well done
I think Blade Runner 2049 probably needs multiple viewings to appreciate it. The first sure did.

I'm giving it a rewatch right now... and I'm sure I've watched it twice before, but I swear... I don't remember a single fucking thing about this 'plot'.
I am starting to suspect that on both prior viewings, I got as far as the first Ana de Armas sighting, and then slunk off to bed for a masty, and post-masty nap. -

I don't remember much about the original but I really enjoyed BR2049 at first watch
