Coyote - stars Michael Chiklis as a just retired Border Patrol employee.
INtent on helping his deceased BP partner's wife and children, he heads to Mexico to finish building a house so they can sell it.
Ends up bumping into the wrong peeps, nek minut, Cartel on yo ass!
Was a decent watch, with the usual why would you do that moments, but at only 6 eps, good time filler!

joystick as I do, Thrustmaster T1600
Somebody had some fun with the marketing.
A thrustmaster joystick "sounds a bit rude":

Finally starting on The Mandalorian, just watched the first two. I don't watch much TV, normally. Slower than I thought it would be, quite cheesy, but ok so far - coolest thing is that he uses the same joystick as I do, Thrustmaster T1600
Two points.

You are in the wrong thread to discuss Mando.
-
Mando is possibly the best TV series in the history of all TV series.
-
-
for some reason I thought S5 of The Expanse was the final season and after the final ep I was like, WTF, shit ending to a series; however, there is a S6!
Amos is awesome!

The youtube above your post is far and away better. But I will
a) Reserve judgement until I have finished the series
and
b) Discuss any TV series I want on the TV series thread. The Mandalorian is not in "Star Wars VII" -

Marcella S3.
Yeah nah not really worth it eh. Puzzling cluster fuck of a storyline and just gets worse and worse. Pretty disappointed after the first couple of seasons.
I'm really enjoying it
-
@Bones @MiketheSnow The main problem I have with Marcella is Anna Friel, who is actually not a bad actress but she always seems to play characters that you want to punch in the face. In this instance there is the whole blackout thing which is annoying and unrealistic without adding much to the plot.
I canned it after one episode of S2.

You're lucky, if it was too much in S2, S3 would have had multiple items launched through your tv. It felt like the writers had given up and just tried to bring in bizarre shit and trying hard to be edgy.
-
@Catogrande Yeah, I just couldn't get into it because of that stuff. Just tell a crime story, don't make me question suspension of disbelief every episode, especially when the gimmick sucks!
-
While I'm at it, can Bosch's super fucking annoying nagging wife acting daughter just disappear for the next season?
Get that man back to hunting sickos and being a lone wolf, completely dedicated to his calling, employing unusual methods and following his own rules, but always getting results.

Wandavision anyone? Ep 5 wtf?!?
Has very quickly gone into geekdom territory over plot and entertainment. As someone that can't be bothered trying to keep abreast of a multiverse I'm going off this fast.
I'm loving it, I think it's great, even though I don't like where I think it's heading:
:::
I think it's trying to bring Mutants into the MCU and I want them to stay the fuck apart. Both universe's are busy enough as it is without combining them.
:::
Can't disagree more with your comment of geekdom over plot and entertainment.
:::
I love the plot, three episodes of WTF, then an explanation episode, and then bringing it together.

I just want to watch it for what it is and not have to have wide knowledge of everything else MCU. Just think it is way more the latter.

TBH, you can't really do that with many genre shows these days. I'm a huge Star Wars (prequels and final aside) movies fan, but not an animated, novel or comic fan, so there was stuff I had to look up in Mando. Was still great.
-
@Crucial I had always felt it was a case of you could enjoy without knowing all the back story....but there were little things that those in the know could also enjoy
I imagine there will be explanation for the lastest, it wont just be a big thing that's left hanging with one line of comment on it

Finished The Bridge (US). Yeah I'd recommend it eh, good watch, although only 2 seasons of 12-13 episodes.
Started on Briarpatch, Rosario Dawson stars as an "Investigator" who comes back to her hometown following her sister's mysterious murder. Based on a 1984 novel, looks to be quite good so far, slightly quirky.
