<p>Also read the other day a team of Star Wars nerds have spent the past few years digitally restoring an original version of Episode IV. As in not the bastardized version Lucas has been forcing us to watch the last 20 years.</p> -
If that had been the opening scene from Episode 1 the fans would have creamed themselves. Instead they got Jar Jar.....

<p>Fuck talk about Nerd heaven, outstanding. Would point out some of the wooden acting but then I remember Hayden Christiansens efforts in the prequels. Some sensational stunt work from whoever played Maul and that padawan chick was easy on the eye too.</p>

<p>Darth Vaders entrance is one of the most iconic moments in cinema history, Kylo Ren is such a bitch in comparison ( especially when Poe pretty much takes the piss out of him )</p>

<p>Episode IVs special effects are good enough for today let alone the era they came out in, seriously, have a look at any sci fi flick from the 70s and try and compare.</p>

<p>to say Disney liberated one or two ideas from A new hope is being rather generous.</p> -
<p>I thought that was the whole idea. Re-boot the franchise to a whole new audience by using the film that started it all as a template.</p>

<p>You could hardly go back and re-do IV so why not re-do IV as VII while also continuing the overall story.</p> -

<p>I don't need to tell you <strike>geeks</strike> cool guys to keep it locked and loaded to the interweb tomorrow.....there's a preview trailer for a new Star Wars flick due out in December ! As I understand it it's kinda Star Wars 3.9 and involves a bunch of rebels stealing plans for the Death Star.</p>

<p>So we might get glimpses of some old favourite characters and fingers crossed there's no whiny emos trying to be tough Siths......</p> -
