I actually got goosebumps watching that successful landing having met one of the Aussies that has worked on this mission.

The CSIRO here will be heavily involved in tracking the Perseverance now that it’s on Mars.

@act-crusader Yeah, it's pretty amazing. Also, how much faster did they get the first images compared to when the first Mars Landers arrived on the planet years ago!

Wasn't sure whether to post this in the "Awesome stuff you see on the internet" or this one.
This YouTube account has more "comparison" videos.

This is an article about this clip: https://interestingengineering.com/video/comparison-of-areas-needed-to-supply-different-foods

CCTV footage of a Blackhole stealing someones Star!!

    That is amazing.

The only thing ore powerful than a black hole, is the internet black hole I'm about to be sucked into looking all things black hole related. I'm no scientist, but having gotten to third year uni physics, I have a decent enough understanding of black holes and the maths / theories never cease to blow my mind wide open.

This is incredible. Heavy reading, but one sentence synopses is "a bacteria that photosynthesises from INFRARED LIGHT FROM A DEEP SEA HYDROTHERMAL VENT"
