@snowy stop right there, we can't ruin every thread

Thought it stretched out a bit too long over 8 episodes, but still enjoyed it

Half way through Wandavision this week, I have no idea who these people are but I'm really enjoying it, I'm guessing I need to watch some marvel films?
If so where do I start??? If you are going to tell me I have to watch films in a weird order then forget that because that put me off ever watching the star wars films I promised I'd watch at the beginning of covid19...and still haven't.What I really love is the quality of acting, everything is light hearted one min and then serious so quickly, great actors...
:::
The scene where Vision does something to a coworker and he goes back to normal and then reverses it (sorry trying not to spoil) was just brilliant acting on that guys part.
:::
Edit figured out the spoiler button
This sort of genre really isn't my bag either so I'm majorly impressed so far...
this give you the in world chronological order but the release order is fine so start with Iron man, its 23 films though

@kiwiwomble oh god why that long!? Thanks, might get around to it after star wars..
-
@victor-meldrew thought the story seemed good, but just couldnt get into thier telling of it.
Started Tell Me your secrets, 2 eps in, seems pretty good!

if im honest...Marvel are better as a film collective, They tell one big story so all interconnect etc...where as star wars is three films...and then they tried to make some money so made three more...and then tried to make more money and made three more

Just to clarify - that was chick talk for when a guy would say "never " wasn't it?

Finished S1 of For All Mankind.
Bloody good series

Well, after quite enjoying the UK panel shows... Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Woukd I Lie To You, Mock the Week, 8 out of 10 Cats, (doing Countdown), Taskmaster, etc....
youtube notified me there was a NZ Would I like To You.
Note to TV producers.... NZ is too small to have enough funny people for this shit. Don't try. It will be piss-awful. As evidence, go back and look at every single attempt you've made so far. Stop it. -

Stop it.The most cringey one is the one where a question about a news item is asked, a scripted “impromptu” joke answer is given by one panellist, then the correct answer by another.
Should have turned it off the moment I saw that Saffa Whale on it. -

Should have turned it off the moment I saw that Saffa Whale on it.Yeah, I think I caught a glimpse of that a couple of days ago... my laptop is fucked, and I've actually peeked at freeview TV a bit recently. I dinnae like it.
I think the one you're talking about is an attempt at Mock The Week... but I didn't watch enough to see if they were brave/deluded enough to try the extended-stand-up section. -

I've started on S2. A few changes in the intervening years.

For those who have access to UK TV shows, new series of Taskmaster starts tomorrow (18th March UK time)
Contestants are Charlotte Ritchie, Jamali Maddix, Lee Mack, Mike Wozniak and Sarah Kendall.
Looking forward to seeing angry Lee Mack...
-
Mexican series Hernan about the conquistador Hernan Cortes. Absolutely outstanding. Obviously the usual morons have complained but it is a far from sympathetic portrayal of the guy and is basically a warts and all view on how fūcked up humans can be.

Finished S3 of Loudermilk, what a quality show!!
Plenty of humour, but some dark/serious stuff too.
Tell Me your secrets (Amazon)
Follows a woman who has been put into witness protection following her release for aiding a serial killer, and she has memory blanks and no recollection of the events that she is accused of doing.
All the while the mother of a girl she was accused of killing, is hunting her through a foundation she created for parents of missing girls, she in turn engages the services of a serial rapist on parole to track her down.
Was pretty good, decent finale, setting up S2 nicely.
