Rugby on Stan

Anyone having trouble casting Stan sport this weekend? Trying to watch the Chiefs/Highlanders game and the picture and sound jumps after a few moments. It's like there is a micro pause every split second. Very annoying. Also doing it during one of the Aussie games.
Got the same result casting from a different device. Normal Stan is not jumping around, nor is Netflix. And it doesn't jump if I watch the coverage on the device rather than casting.

@crazy-horse I had the same issue with the Chiefs v Highlanders game too but I watched it on replay. It wasn't throughout the whole game though, just on a few occasions.
@akan004 glad I am not the only one. I was trying to watch a replay too.

I eventually got the new Chromecast ("With GoogleTV") and it fixed a few of those issues I was having historically (not with Stan).
The older Chromecasts were alright for stuff at 720p but having to have the device stream then buffer then stream to a chromecast without a lot of grunt wasn't ideal when going up to HD.

I'm not sure if this is a good move, or bad. Certainly brings a new dynamic compared to the mostly establishment journos on there.

Latest BB game has the camera just on him. It’s a bit weird.

Turned on sound and it appears the game was suspended because of thunderstorms. So they’re showing what was played but have the camera only on BB. He definitely does cover some ground during a game.

Haven't been a fan of his over the years, but I have to say I quite like Cheika on the panel. His passion for the game is there to see. I am starting to change my mind on him.

I have many horror stories about Cheika as a coach. But as a less-personally-engaged analyst, I agree he adds value.

So first real fuck up on Stan.
Watching Blues v Rebs very slightly delayed.
69:30 in scrum to I think Blues ...
Screen corrupts and all of a sudden we're looking at 79:something and Akira smiling like a Cheshire cat running back obviously having just scored.
Replay plays (and note to the comms ... Sam Nock bears to fucking resemblance to Sam Darry! ...) and then that stops as the action nearing the line.
"Rewind" ... again ... and again... and again...
Same prob each time.
Obviously the feed is corrupted. Too much hassle to try and watch the remaining 10 mins when 45 points up and gave up.
Not good Stan.
Other Stan issues ... Have had issues with Stan deciding to stop showing the delayed coverage when I'm watching a few minutes behind which seems to coincide with the end if the live feed. Just stops the feed I'm watching which may be some minutes behind. Definitely seems to coincide with the end of the live feed but stops what I'm watching and I have to re start the feed in 'watch from start', with random fat finger to find where I was at ... ,)
BTW have I mentioned the lack of a fast forward button?
