Potential banana skin for Scotland against Italy
Townsend makes 7 changes, mostly enforced, starting Hogg at 10

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/56446925

    Scotland:
Maitland; Graham; Jones, Johnson; Van der Merwe; Hogg, Steele
Sutherland, Cherry, Z Fagerson; Skinner, Gilchrist, Ritchie, Watson, M Fagerson

    Replacements:
Turner, Bhatti, Berghan, Craig, Haining, Price, Van der Walt, Harris.

    Could go horribly wrong

England team to face Ireland in Dublin.

England: Malins; Watson, Daly, Farrell (capt), May; Ford, Youngs; M Vunipola, Cowan-Dickie, Sinckler, Itoje, Ewels, Wilson, Curry, B Vunipola.

Replacements: George, Genge, Stuart, Hill, Earl, Robson, Lawrence, Marchant.

I am more and more convinced that Eddie was touring over here back in early 1992 and fathered an out of wedlock son. His mother decided to call him Elliot and told him tales of his rugby playing father which made him determined to become a rugby player himself.

Poor young Odogwu, brought into the squad on the back of some outsanding performances in the Premiership. Slade gets injured so Odogwu gets his chance. No wait, we'll slot an out of form full back in there instead. Well at least he'll be on the bench and get his chance I hear you say. But no, we will bring in someone from outside the squad to fill that position. Watch Odogwu declare for Italy and carve up against us in the years to come.

Other than that, not much to complain about, though I might have had Earl starting in the place of Wilson who seems short of a gallop.

It’s only Italy. Scotland could spend all night on the Famous Grouse and still hammer them by 20 the next day.

Good maths. Eddie would be ashamed.

They're fine whatever, everyone's happier about a biennial trip to Rome rather than Bucharest or Tbilisi

That plus the money plus the fact Georgia and Romania are a step below Italy, as bad as Italy are.

@machpants it's about time to pull out a win to save their pancetta for another few years.

They're fine whatever, everyone's happier about a biennial trip to Rome rather than Bucharest or Tbilisi

                                    Tbilisi is fantastic

Prolly can't get a porchetta sandwich at the truck outside the ground though eh.
