    @kirwan the best thing they removed was how Mamoa splashed backwards into the water.

    I was going to list a few things but realised it easier just to say it was great, any critiques I have would actually just be about how they could have split out some stuff and made a whole trilogy of movies, worth watching

    :::

    Only other thing I wasn’t sure about was the epilogue, it was great...but I don’t see the point In Setting stuff up they’re not going to follow through on, it’s just a tease

    What he shot was setting up a sequel though. There are plot points for a Flash film, the once planned Cyborg film, as well as at least one sequel for Justice League.

    And his arc for Superman was to end with the smiling, heroic version we all know. He was trying to tell a story about how he got there instead of starting perfect.

    And originally he was going to have an after credits scene casting a new Green Lantern.

    @kirwan 100%, i get that, its petty clear that's why they would have been shot originally, but unless theres a chance DC are going to reinstate the Snyden-verse im not sure i would have included everything in the prologue, i always had in my head this whole thing was to give the fans what they want but the prologue is just a bit of tease of something they're not going to see

    I am going to add one thing, i came out liking all the characters, even the bad guys, all the heros have sweet moments and it was clear why they were there and steppenwolf was menacing, i good bad guy and hes not even the real big bad

    Well the campaign has started for more Justices League from Synder.

    I can’t see it happening, but in a world of multiverses maybe you can have two versions at the same time.

    Coach Carter. Based on a true story, Samuel L Jackson plays the tough basketball coach with a heart of gold trying to make a difference to his team of unruly ghetto rats. Sort of Last Chance U meets Dangerous Minds. All the usual cliches but a rewarding film, 5 college scholarships out of 5 signed contracts

    There's lots of actual good stuff on there once you've watched the fanboi-athon. 😉

    They have all the HBO stuff so they have some classics like Sopranos, The Wire etc. I can't really comment on their films as most of theirs is recentish movies and I tend to go to the cinema to watch them.

    Do they still have the free trial?

    The biggest praise so far...it makes sense. It reminds me to Kingdom of Heaven, famously bad movie on release...but the +3hr directors cut made list of one of the best directors cuts, I honestly believe just because all the little things they removed to make it cinema length...are all the small things that make the big things make sense

    :::

    They actually mention the flash dream sequence! Am I right they didn’t in the original

    :::

    i love the KoH directors cut, it's awesome

    Lord of the Rings: The Fellowhip of the Ring

    20 years old!!

    And based on that, thought it was time i shared it with the kids. It's still awesome, and it still looks amazing. What a fucking movie.

    Told the kids they have to wait 2 years to watch the 2nd one like we had to. They we're not happy with the suggestion.

    The Hobbiton tour definitely adds a bit to the first part of the movie. Like how he wasn't happy with the leaves of the tree above Bag End so he had them all removed and had artificial ones made. The tree is in shot for fucking 10 seconds!!
