          No one was watching the men deal to Bangladesh. I don’t think the women are particularly high on anyone’s list of priorities.

          I don’t think I’m sexist, in fact I know I’m not but I truly couldn’t give two fucks.

                      Kinda like watching NZ teams from the 90s ... our fast bowlers are dibbly dobblies.

                      Aus chick we dropped now killing us.

                          @booboo ... and that's all she wrote

                          I watch it if I can - but as I wrote elsewhere, the standard was pretty poor, particularly in the field. Simple catches being dropped consistently.

                          Catches win matches. We had a golden opportunity to deal to Aus, and threw it away (or shelled it, depending on how bad dad joke you want to go)

                            I can't say I watch every game, but what I have seen of the White Ferns this summer adds to my "flat track bullies" impression of them on the whole. There were some great individual domestic performances this summer, but they get put into perceptive once the White Ferns come up against any international team ranked above them. Perhaps we need more depth in the domestic game.

                              The Ferns look half a team with some making up the numbers - if the big guns don't fire, there isn't much else and with Bates out, that's a lot of pressure on Devine and Satterthwaite. And lots of dobblies, it's like Larsen and Harris all over again.

                              In my insomniac time last night, there was an exciting conclusion to the India v England ODI series made exciting by India shelling some absolute sitters. I thought the fix might be in, it was so bad ....

                                      Just a typical Kiwi international cricket team then?

                                      Bit of a dated cliche that one, our team currently is fucken awesome !

                                      I suppose it could be argued our current team is atypical.

                                        Absolutely, this amount of class players all in the same era is unheard of.

                                        Get on the bandwagon while you can everyone !

                                          With any sort of luck, Jamieson will be an example that draws others in.
