    Anyone watched Taboo, any good?

    Yeah - good. It starts off with a bit too much "mystical" shit - a-la early Vikings.... but once they've worked that out of their systems, it's really very good. Like @Bovidae - I'd be quite keen for a S2... but I'm not sure if they're doing one?
    Edit: a 10 second Ask-Jeeves search says yes, but they've been meaning to do it for 3 years now - and not actually started... and that there is actually 3 seasons planned.

    @kruse

    Tom Hardy and his father are part of the creative team for Taboo, so he needs to get his shit together for S2 to happen.

    Can't remember if we've ever talked about "Unforgotten" (netflix/itv)
    Just an excellent series, along the lines of Broad Church. Nearly finished series4 on itvhub, female lead who's name escapes me is such a good actress, good storyline so far too!
    If you haven't watched it I'd recommend watching s1-3 on Netflix anyway.

    Now this badboy is coming back, so fricken excited!!

    Yeah finished Unforgotten, really good again, Cass seemed far less frustrating this season.

    Line of Duty is bloody good again.

    Been watching an Aussie series, Janet King. It's a decent watch eh...have to suspend a bit of belief as top cops and law people seem to believe whatever tenuous stuff is thrown at them, but it works once you get over that.

    @crucial Sanjeev has been bloody good in this. Ms Cato No1 suggested this is because comedians often make good dramatic actors. “He was a comedian”? I replied. “Thought you had to be funny for that”.

    Is that the Sanjev who guest hosts the Kermode and Mayo film show?

    Sanjeev Bhaskar. Not sure about the film show thing as I haven’t watched it. I find Kermode faintly unwatchable and add Simon Salad-Cream on top and that is a real red flag for me.

    Yeah, that's the guy.

    It's a radio show, well podcast for me, I like them.

    That makes more sense. Mayo would be mariginally more acceptable if you can't see his smirking, punchable, warty face. A face made for radio.

    Haha, I have no idea what they look like. I like Mayo as he takes the piss out of Kermode when Kermode gets too movie snobbish.

    He's actually way less movie snobbish than what you'd think - Robbie Collins has that covered when he guests host, often with Sanjeev.
