You're starting from a lower baseline for the inevitable weight gain when you move in together.

Crucial ,hate to be the one to break it to you but any woman that said that to you was trying to make you feel better . In reality she probably refers to you as needledick the bugfucker when she's talking about you to her friends on a girls night out.
Sorry mate.

TBH I'm not all that familiar with her other work, but in Vinyl she looked a healthy enough weight. Not farking hospice chick like that thing from Ally McBeale. Or that stick insect from Sex and The City.

I finally caught up with The Dark Horse yesterday. It wasn't at all what I was expecting, which was a life-affirming biopic about a Maori bloke who became a chess champion against the odds. Instead I got an incredibly gritty movie with some truly great acting performances and a new respect for Cliff Curtis. Olivia Wilde isn't in it though, so a couple of stars off for that.

Prefer a few more curves personally, but hey, if we all liked the same thing there wouldn't be enough to go round!

Eddie the Eagle - sounded like the lamest film ever, but actually really enjoyed it. The man was clearly tapped, but had some serious bottle - going down those jumps for the first time in his 20s. All the pros were training from about 8 so would have known no fear.

Piss off. Shakespeare in Love was a great movie. Joseph Fiennes, Geoffrey Rush, Judi Dench, Colin Firth as the villain, even a young Ben Affleck...I'll forgive them for casting Gwyneth and her mozzie bites. (She shouldn't have gotten Best Actress)

Eddie the Eagle: Decent feel good movie with Hugh Jackman and the kid from The Kingsman. Plus, it was free and they gave us swag (lollies, fizzy, ice cream etc) so that helps a movie be 'good'. Oh, it's about the ski jumper from the UK.

Saw Mahana the other day. Thought the script was pretty bad - had no idea what the source material was like. The acting was good and it was well directed, shot and edited but I don't think those factors could carry the plot. It's okay and wouldn't recommend unless you like New Zealand films.

I love the previews of it, especially the part when the bunny is dealing with the sloths. Really well done, especially the Sloth's Laugh

Daddys Home - Will Ferrel, Mark Wahlberg and cameo by John Cena.

Will Ferrell is a wussy bumbling step-dad, Wahlberg the cool real dad.

Had its moments, slow through the middle, but ended with a funny little cameo of Cena's, not really a fan of Ferrel, but this was watchable

The John Cena bit at the end was the best bit IMO. Certainly watchable for amusement on a rainy day.

Watched 22 Bullets starring Jean Reno and it's good. Hollywood will make a version and ruin it type good. Certainly better than the IMDB rating suggests. Jean is a retired mobster and you can guess how it goes from there.

It loses two stars; one for a lack of tits and could have had more gore/ violence/ shoot-outs given the opportunities in the script.
