@chris-b I went to a dinner when Stu Wilson spoke, he was excellent, including humour (even if I didnt find him funny on TV)
Probably much easier to tailor your humour to a specific group (at a dinner event) than 10s of thousands of viewers/listeners

@taniwharugby Eric Rush is an absolute genius in front of an Australian rugby-loving crowd. I've seen him twice, totally different material, audience in stiches both times.
Did he ever make it onto TV back home?
@voodoo he made the odd appearance on Sports Cafe or whatever it was years back, but think he still does alot of speaking events

It was about as funny as Leigh Hart.

Well I actually asked a real live Asian about this - one of my best mates who is Malaysian Chinese. His response was “Why should I be offended by this?” “Who honestly gives a fuck?” and “That (Wheeler) is one inbred looking fucker.”
