Hmm do they travel everywhere with her? That would really cramp your style!! Interesting language around Mr Ko's lack of golf skills on that article

@chris-b I keep hearing the same thing from those in the golfing world, that Lydia's parents are way, WAY too involved.

She's old enough to tell them to take a step back. But it would be bloody tough. Perhaps Mr Ko should leave the golf to the experts?

Lydia needs to listen to my old mate Bobby Brown

@virgil She actually cried, so I can only imagine the monster pressure she has been under after all her upheavals. Really stoked for her, was a primo shot into the green for her eagle.

Hell I nearly cried while watching it at work!

Bloody amazing play off hole. Watched the last 9 holes and there was some quality golf in there. Lydia is hitting the ball a lot higher and further than before. Her short game was just amazing at times in this tournament. Multiple chip-ins and almost killed it with one on her first time down 18 yesterday.

@canefan SHE HAD several more birdie opportunities that didnt end up falling for her in her 62 (-10) but by the same token, the winner had a few that didnt fall either, but thats sport.

Lyds is storming away. 27 under with 4 holes to play. Leads the field by 6, the nearest player is in the clubhouse. A wee factoid, her playing partner Nelly Korda is the daughter of 1998 Australian Open champ Petr Korda

Lyds leads by 7, walking up the final fairway. Ms Ko will be swimming shortly. Will feel great after 3 years in the wilderness

Lydia has recorded only one bogie in 100 holes of competitive golf. Ridiculous

Her finishing hole would warm the heart of club golfers everywhere. Tee shot into bunker, second shot into bunker, drop shot from green side bunker close to the cup. One putt for the title. It's all about the short game

@mn5 nah back in the day when he was Nick the Aussie @NTA you would get the Off Topic Forum absolutely dominated by our tree hugging Waratah fan.

He'd get all lathered up about something and would post multiple snippets of thoughts BANG, BANG, BANG like a gatling gun wielded by a crack head.

I remember one time opening the latest posts page and the latest (about) 15 topics commented on all had his avatar as the latest poster
