Nankivell repping Hautapu as opposed to a Ta$man based club is kinda weird.

Yeah, and he seemed passionate about it in the video. His brother plays for Fraser Tech.

@bovidae yeah it is weird. Maybe a switch to Waikato? Does he really play for Ta$man much?

I doubt it. We have Wrampling coming through, as well as Tupaea and Sullivan.

Nankivell was always in their top team, until he got injured.

Based on how McMillan has done compared to Gatland would there be any chance of Gatland maybe not being head coach? Or some kinda double head coach type thing idk.

@gt12 Bobby Boshier hits harder then both of them combined.

Also mentioned in the article (about the Chiefs-Reds game):

Collins is working with Reds counterpart Dave Hanham to negotiate details, hopeful that they can announce a decision by the end of the week, with a home venue outside of Hamilton also an option.

@bovidae It would be great if all Super Round games are played outside the main centres, whether that's in NZ or Oz.

I've just been watching the Chiefs-Wales game from 2016, that was recently replayed on Sky. I know a lot of the talk was about the young loose forward trio (Boshier, Brown and Sanders) in this game but ALB was very impressive too, so no surprise he made his AB debut later that year. And not forgetting Beaver...

While Collins confirmed backs coach Roger Randle is contracted for next season, he wouldn’t disclose the status of scrum coach Nick White, kicking coach David Hill and forwards coach Neil Barnes, though it's understood the latter is unlikely to return, having taken on the Taranaki NPC job.

Does anyone know how Atu Moli went in club rugby today? Was he looking fit and pain-free? Or is his return to Chiefs still some time off?

Moli was only listed to come off the bench again. I wonder how many minutes he has played in these 2 club games?

Can we start a fund to not have Warren G return? I would chip in to that.

I honestly don't think the Chiefs have played any better this year than in SRA last year. In fact, the backs looked slicker last season.

Getting the first win against the Canes was huge for the confidence and it has flowed from that.

Looking ahead to the final, I would be resting the front row, Weber, ALB and DMac for the Blues game and limiting the minutes for some other starters.
