@yeetyaah apart from Blackwell I’m really liking that Hurricanes team. Best side we’ve put out so far this year. (Apart from obviously not having Ardie there)

Hope they let Love play more in this game aswell.

Picking our boys to knock the Chiefs over in a tight one.

In a post which will surprise no one I haven’t watched a lot of Canes games so find it hard to comment......but what does this guy offer when any number of recent Welsh backs are taller than him ?

He has recurring issues, doesn't he? It's tough, I reckon he is AB material but his health comes first.

In the past, yes. Jacobson played all of the NPC last season and all the Chiefs games this year without any problems. The head knock may have happened at training. Hopefully, just precautionary.

And then I read this article.

“He woke up on Sunday and felt a little bit dusty, so straight away, we ruled him out for the week.”

McMillan said there was no major concern for Jacobson – “he’s looking as bright as anything” – and the 24-year-old was close to being rested after playing 80 minutes in all six of the Chiefs’ matches this year.

“This little setback is timely, I think, because we probably would have considered giving him some time out either this week or next,” McMillan said.

@mikey07 I'm surprised that you're surprised. Numia was excellent against the Crusaders. Infact, after Savea and Coles, he was probably the pick of the forwards.

@mn5 the fact that you don't watch the Canes often and you still have the same impression on Blackwell says somthing. No one knows why he keeps getting selected, at this point only injury will prevent him from starting.

Suppose you get that when you tell the Mrs you'll be home at 7.30ish but don't turn up until 4 hours later. Whoopsie.

I was just dropping of Mrs Mikey and Junior Mikey at Wellington Airport and the Canes were here checking there baggage first thing IWL is quite tall but not as bulky as his appearance suggests, 2nd thing I saw Blackwell walk past and was tempted to give you all an early Xmas present and accidentally land on his ankle and break it😂, thirdly had to bite my tongue when Holland and Gibbs walked past I so wanted to give them a verbal but I bit my tongue😂

                                        Fifita as wing cover. 😉

Quite a bizzare selection this one. What the hell is Fifita doing there as you already have a specialist lock (ready to come on when Scrafton suffers his almost certain injury) and specialist No. 8 on the bench and you know R Prinsep and J Blackwell are never going to be replaced as that will impact too seriously on the onfield leadership quotient of the team so he won't be needed at any stage.

I thought I did pretty well with my selections I am very surprised with Numia, and Rayasi starting, also glad Iose will get some game time.

@mikey07 almost! Rayasi has to have game time for sure! and Numia is the best loosehead we have at the canes! and in my opinion the most in form in the country atm
