Surely if the Raiders are a competent organisation then Sticky gets fired this week?

Stuff you whingers, I’m at the game, I can’t even switch to aerial ping pong.

Christ, I thought I was slow to learn!

TBF, I've been trying to go to a Manly game for 6 years now as I like to go to all the local parks - but most years Manly take the game to Perth.

It's hard watching at the ground, not so much for the feral fans (I was sitting in the members area, I'd hate to see what happens on the hill) as they can get quite comical. I don't know if Des channels the fans or if they channel Des but FFS the heart attack rate out that way must be off the charts. Whenever there is a bunker decision they all turn around and shout abuse at some guy sitting by a TV screen. I'm not sure why he's the guy, but it is funny to see them on mass turn around and hurl abuse at him.

Why it's hard is you can see how much the deck is loaded against the Warriors. And no, I'm not excusing the Warriors own stupidity in this match ....

I still can't believe they didn't at least review the Saab try where a Manly player took out Pompey and Tommy Turboed through the hole created, especially how many times they looked at Currans try after initially looking at it, awarding it, and then re-looking at it.

That was an obvious clanger but what annoyed me the most was when the Warriors were trying to run it out of their end and Manly were not back 10 on any tackle and were moving before the ball was even played. The crowd started cheering even more and the ref swallowed his whistle.

What was also weird about the game was that it was actually reasonably close in the end. Take away that 15-20 min period, from the Saab try mentioned above, and it was a closely fought match. I wasn't too disappointed with the result, after their second try I thought they were going to run up 50 unanswered points against us and as I've mentioned a couple of times the crowd were feral as fuck. Not quite Canterbury level, they didn't hurl a full beer can at me (but then again I wasn't on crutches like in Chch so maybe I was moving a bit too fast).

Had a BBQ for lunch before the game so all in all a pretty good day out.

Would have been an entertaining match for non supporters at Manly, but for those supporting either the Warriors or Manly you would have been jumping and throwing toys out of the cot at the same time.

I see a couple of comments about our wingers and I agree with them, not so much that they are slow for speed, but slow to react, make poor decisions in reading defensive lines, not trusting the man to make the tackle on the inside and if you are going to make an attempt for an intercept, dont half go, either commit or stay in the defnsive line. Too many easy tries because of the wingers on either side.

Tommy Turbo is just on another level, he has signlehandedly turned Many around and manages to destroy teams he plays. Clearly it is easier to say I going to tackle him, than it is to execute.

@Nepia some league crowds can get a bit out there, try not to sit anywhere near the burrow if Souths are playing..I remember getting abused by an old granny just for supporting the opposition lol.. Manly not so bad.

EDIT: Curran no charge to face after the referral..finally they cop a break at the judiciary

good signing, and one desperately needed by the Broncos. A calm half to run things is what they need. Nico Hynes should be next on the shopping list.

The embedding? That only works on certain sites (stuff, nzh etc) I should probably add foxsports

Most of the time you're better off not using the link button. Just paste the url

Shit the MRP are going to be busy on Monday. It's a report-a-thon

    And binnings everywhere

Tigers have already smacked the Knights

Manly are going to do the same to the Broncos

Ricky Stuart's halftime talks must be right up there with a three hour Friday 8am lecture, straight after a big night.
