@nostrildamus Yes he has but he was paying second five on Friday night. He also had another second five playing inside him at first five (O. Ledger) who decided to adopt the "leave the tackling to my loose forwards" method making things even more difficult to get an understanding on just exactly what and where he should be defending in his position on the night.

Oh yes I know, sorry I wasn't clear in my text. I don't know why coaches think 12 == 13, might have played there before but combinations, combinations!

@nostrildamus PUJ will improve at 12, he hasn’t played much there but I’m confident that the PUJ / Proctor combo will flourish, just give them time.
Unfortunately it looks like we are stuck with Leger at 10 for the remainder of the season. A bit of a doormat defensively so hopefully he can sort it out.

Hurricanes first five-eighth Ruben Love will miss Friday’s match against the Rebels in Wellington, but has avoided serious injury after frightening scenes at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Coach Jason Holland said the 20-year-old rising star would be sidelined for a week after suffering concussion when taking a heavy knock in the second minute of Friday’s remarkable 64-48 victory over the Waratahs in Super Rugby Trans- Ta$man.
Fears of a spinal injury were allayed, after the match was held up for 10 minutes while Love was attended to on the turf. -

@canes4life Perenara will only play if another player drops out of the squad because of injury.
@stargazer it only takes one injury out of the whole squad though which is highly likely. Wouldn’t be surprised if someone like Taumateine all of a sudden rolls his ankle.

@stargazer He hasn’t lived up to expectations anyway shouldn’t be resigned beyond this year....watch this space will get a 2 year extension now

The Canes have a tough decision to make on who they will cut out of Booth, Campbell and Roigard. Roigard looks to have plenty of potential so they might want to lock him up for the future.

@mackerzzzz I totally agree, I like Booth but he is getting on and it’s time to plan for the future.
@mikey07 im not so sure who they are going to boot now that Taumateine is starting on Friday. Who knows they will probably keep Booth/JT and boot Roigard/Campbell.

@delicatessen Looking at the Hurricanes website, that is Ben Castle's job! He's the current General Manager - Rugby. I fully expect Darren Larsen to get the gig, so he can ruin Hurricanes Development and Recruitment with more authority.
