There's a spot spare on the bus for any willing ferner - it's not like they're going to hire someone with sensible ideas.

@delicatessen Looking at the Hurricanes website, that is Ben Castle's job! He's the current General Manager - Rugby. I fully expect Darren Larsen to get the gig, so he can ruin Hurricanes Development and Recruitment with more authority. Pro forma vacancy ad. :face_with_tears_of_joy: :loudly_crying_face:

See PUJ is running out for the mighty Wainui tomorrow I think we’ll need him as we are playing North’s.

@mikey07 Quite right according to this published lineup that has him starting. http://www.clubrugby.co.nz/wellington/games-results.php?competition=1&season=18&round=7
Wainui look to have a fairly handy backline when you see TJ Va'a is in at first five. They also have a fairly huge guy in the 14 jersey that could cause a few tackling problems for Norths.

Vince Aso (13) and the up and coming Riley Higgins (12) making club rugby look fairly easy yesterday:

That was abysmal by the red 15 near the start

I don’t have the video because I’m on my phone writing this but PUJ made and awesome try saving tackle to deny A North’s player scoring...if anyone’s interested it’s on the Wainui rugby Facebook page.

That's funny. Good speed and determination by PUJ but that ball carrier must be waking up at night thinking 'why didn't I dive?'

Three great weeks past for the Hurricanes.

Two, possibly three, massive weeks ahead for the blokes in yellow and black.

Given their squads are both rammed to the brim with internationals the Blues and the Crusaders must be favourite for the final.

But I would love it if we can be party poopers. Our destiny is our own hands. Definitely dark horses for the competition.

@sparky if we can field all of Evans, Savea, Coles, Barrett, Lomax and Perenara mixed in with the youthful exuberance of Numia, Flanders, Love, PUJ, IWL, Rayasi and Aumua the Canes easily have the firepower to win this comp.

I feel a lack of experience in this side was their downfall in SRA but we are now getting that experience back in spades so hopefully that puts us in a good position going into the latter stages of this competition.

Being the dark horses will suit us.
