    I've been watching 1971 on Apple+.
Supposedly about the 'year that music changed everything'.

I do love me a good music doco so 8 episodes on a theme was rather attractive.
Well done and an interesting watch. You certainly won't know everything but too me it should have been subtitled 'The year that music changed with a changing world' as that is what they show.
Much of the impetus to music change is societal change rather than vice-versa.

7 Alice Coopers out of 10 David Bowies

PS: Nixon is portrayed as a seriously nasty piece of shit. Makes Trump look tame.

Hopefully it is also done and dusted with no manufactured sequel.

yeah that is the kicker isnt it, when these shows are big hits, they try to capitalise on it by making a 2nd season.

I mean even with 1 ep to go, I wondered what they'd do for a whole hour, then last night, I was wondering how they'd use up an hour after finding out what we needed to know in 15 minutes of the extended ep...but again, they made it work.

Turns out Guy was just there to cash his cheque!

Guy was certainly a red herring storyline for viewers though.

Mr nice guy who appears and gets close to the investigator but has a questionable back story then flits off to another small town when the case is 'solved'.

I'm struggling to think of a series in the recent past that had so many credible prime suspects at different stages of the plot. Some of the scenes we saw earlier had a different meaning in light of how everything unfolded in the last episode. It was a well-made TV series.

Was flicking around looking for something to watch last night and started re-watching Banshee from the start.
Man that was a fun series. Almost forgot about the blatant nudity from chicks like this..

@bovidae thank you for not giving it away as I'm home sick today and watched the last 3 Eps.

It was one of the more satisfying watches I've had in a while. Great stuff. Shame it was limited release.

Banshee was brilliant. Living proof that small town America has hot chicks with impossible fighting skills and there was not a beating you couldn’t recover from overnight provided you went to Sugars for a few whiskies.

    Dark side of the Ring.

Awesome viewing for anyone who was into wrestling in the 80’s and 90s. Real behind the scenes scoops on shit that went down backstage ( Owen Harts Death, Dino Bravos murder, the bizarre relationship between Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth etc etc )

    Awesome viewing.

Well I finally finished Shameless USA, man, that was a marathon. Last season lost its way a bit, but still it's given me plenty of hours of enjoyment.

Now into S2 of Mr Inbetween, enjoying so far.

Just saw Mare of E loaded to Foxtel so I'll watch that next - always behind the 8-ball!

Yeah, just watched the finale of Mare of Easttown.

    Fucking bravo.

    Well done.

    Titwatch: zero.
    Shark-count: zero.
    Not even a gun-fight.
Yet somehow... still fucking bravo. Up there with Broadchurch.

If ya didn’t think Vince McMahon was a fluffybunny before it certainly becomes apparent after viewing some of the episodes

Finished S2 of Pennyworth, which is the story of Alfred Pennyworth before he becomes the Waynes Butler.

Enjoyable show, with comic book villains.

Star of the show though is a character Bett, played by Paloma Faith (Brit singer) her character is bat shit crazy!

This world differs alot from some of the other stuff but with the numerous universes that DC has, I just take it as it comes!
