Finished S2 of Pennyworth, which is the story of Alfred Pennyworth before he becomes the Waynes Butler.
Enjoyable show, with comic book villains.
Star of the show though is a character Bett, played by Paloma Faith (Brit singer) her character is bat shit crazy!
This world differs alot from some of the other stuff but with the numerous universes that DC has, I just take it as it comes!

Dark side of the Ring.
Awesome viewing for anyone who was into wrestling in the 80’s and 90s. Real behind the scenes scoops on shit that went down backstage ( Owen Harts Death, Dino Bravos murder, the bizarre relationship between Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth etc etc )
Awesome viewing.
platform?

@taniwharugby she probably pretty much just plays herself I imagine. She's not been that present the last year or two but she was flavour of the month on telly for a couple of years before that. This is about the "normallest" I've seen her...

The Beast Must Die on BritBox. Based on the Nicholas Blake novel (pen name of Poet Laureate Cecil Day-Lewis).
Read some of his novels and they're real good, but this adaptation sucks. Almost as if the producers have ignored good writing and gone on a box-ticking exercise of stereotypes - right down to the helpful, plucky Asian WPC, the Ferrari-driving rap artist and the brilliant, but deeply traumatised Chief Inspector. They only needed a corrupt Chief Superintendent and they'd have the full set.
Formulaic dross.

@mn5 I didn't even know season 3 had started. I'm watching Brian Pillman as we speak
Who ?
I think we’re still at season 2 here. Stink.

@mariner4life also on that massively outdated tube site dailymotion. Without the SBS ads.
-
@mn5 just type in dark side of the ring season 3 into Google and dailymotion has he newest episodes. Pillman is the guy that basically started the attitude era. Where bad guys started to become the cool wrestlers. I didn't follow him when I used to watch. But his story is cool.

Now I’m older I really appreciate how cool the bad guys were. Especially the likes of Rick Rude, Ted DiBiase, Mr Perfect etc. Bobby the Brain and Jimmy Hart complimented them so well too. Fucken awesome entertainment all round.

Just finished S1.
Stupid, dumb, fun. But not stupid like american stupid - good fun stupid - they've actually done 19th century London quite well, with a well-worked alternative 'universe'. (Shit I hate that wank phrase)
Kudos to whatever exec signed off on a DC TV series having the word "fuck" used as frequently as in this. This is far better than the Arrow type tripe. -

That would make an excellent exam question:
- which drug(s) is this person on, and approximately how much?
Anybody here want to take a guess?
For me - it's cocaine, but fairly fresh - she's not on a bender - just a cool half-gram in the lead-up to the recording. -

One of the most poignant examples of this idea of "watch an appearance on a 'celebrity panel show and guess the drugs" is Amy Winehouse on Never Mind the Buzzcocks... she's obviously off her tits, they're taking the piss out of her for it, occasionally joking about the "yeah, you're gonna kill yourself if you keep this up"... and then...

Either way, I'd like to have been at the after-party of that show!!!
