S1 of The IT Crowd.
Some very silly stuff, but good fun!
S1 of IASIP
Some amusing stuff, lotsa silly stuff, def low budget!
At 20 odd mins an eps, easy to get through series like these if you arent watching anything else or want something light before you go to sleep.
You have the best to come when Matt Berry arrives.

@crucial Thanks for heads up
1971 The Year Music Changed Everything .Apple series.50 yrs on...wow. Footage very powerful. Bit slow in places but as a muso I cut the slack. Born in 1969 so was much more than an education (especially as a white Saffa) Grown up with these tunes and faces. Aretha Franklin just past legend IMO. Respect people
Seeing the state of US the last few years a bit depressing how long theyβre taking to mutate into a balanced and fair society for blacks (let alone here in SA...) But wow the footage of exactly the same fight is there 50 years back with those depressingly similar patterns still paralleled with current affairs... Program was a privilege to watch overall.

Anyone remember the Highlander TV series from the 1990s with Adrian Paul? That wasn't a bad watch from memory.
ok, went back to watch it after remembering i had downloaded it...wow the fashion super dated and there are multiple minutes of brooding montages thats i feel you only got in the early 90's...but it is fun and i do still love the premise, like any of these series i think a more overarching story shakes out in later series

so watched the Macho Man/Miss Elizabeth episode of Dark Side of the Ring last night. The Macho Man is probably my 2nd favourite wrestler ever. Great fucking episode. Everyone doing Randy's voice as they tell another story about how insane he was.

I think his problem ( well as a performer, his personality was clearly fucked ) was he existed at exactly the same time as Hogan did so got overshadowed.
Macho Man was so much better in the ring though. Hogans matches were all the same. Get beaten, Get Hulkamania and come back, no sell the moves, swing into the ropes, big boot, leg drop ( seriously that was such a shit finisher ) and pin. Yawn.

started S2 of the IT Crowd, and in the 1st ep, there was about 5 minutes which was probably the funniest thing I have seen in a very long time, I was actually crying with laughter!
Was the one where Roy pretended he was disabled!!

Reminded me of 'The man with two legs' episode of Coupling, which also happens to be S2E1.
That series also had some great moments (while Jeff was in it) -

Coupling is the best sitcom ever, I often quote the pillow rant at home.
Watching it on Red-Red days in the Falklands in The Goose bar, drinking John Smiths with all the ATC lovelies - awesome!
It is quite re-watchable too. The funny moments are so good that you enjoy the anticipation of them. We have the whole series on DVD from back in the day and pre-streaming days it used to be a regular watch when there was nothing on terrestial TV

@nta watched ep 1 last night, def seems worth continuing
I think the target audience is pretty broad, but it isn't turning into a teen-fest unlike some other series I've started.
-
@nta yeah wife wasnt that keen to watch it, but our list of watching was a bit bare, but she enjoyed it too.
Been a wet and windy weekend here, so smashed S2 of Love, Death and Robots, some good eps, some not.
THe animation is outstanding though!!

Was it Smack the Pony (skit comedy show) where the blonde one from Coupling got mostly naked (boobies at least) on occasion?

Snow In The Desert was pretty fucking good.
Not sure where all the "Strong Nudity" was supposed to be unless they meant a naked giant.
