@nogusta Akira? He's an AB and off contract.
Akira almost went down last time he was off contract. He's also behind Robinson and Sotutu at the moment, so maybe he'll try go down there to become a regular starter?

@dice Starting, instead of whom? Prinsep and Flanders are already signed and Akira won't play at openside if Ardie leaves. The Canes' coaches seem reluctant to drop Prinsep and Flanders is the future!
@stargazer No idea, but he has more chance being a regular starter down there than up here.
If it were up to me, he'd start ahead of Prinsep.

As for an AB signing my guess would be Josh Ioane? Holland made comments about looking for another 10

If you are excluding current ABs, what about Plumtree? I'm not sure of the length of his contract but he is from Wellington.

@duluth Hope it isn't Gibson, I don't rate him too highly. Who would he replace anyway? Kirifi and Iose have signed on and Ardie is not far away from what I'm hearing. Evans can also cover 7 if he signs on.

@bovidae could be? With Fifita most likely moving on I feel that Caleb Delany is probably more of a chance of getting that spot ahead of Plumtree. Unless his old man pulls a few strings.

I wouldn’t blame him I’m sure he wants to play 10 instead of 15 he seems stuck behind Hunt

I was thinking the same there’s not exactly a lot of room unless possibly covering maybe 6

@mikey07 I'd rather them sign TK Howden over signing Gisbson as a 6 - he's younger but he stood out for the Under 20s and he could be one to keep an out for over the next few years.

I have a sneaking suspicion it’s Blake Gibson coming to the Canes just the rumours I’m hearing..of course is rather it not be him
@mikey07 can’t see it happening. We’ve already got Iose and Kirifi and I will be annoyed if we sign him over Evans. Unless Savea shocks everyone and decides not to re-sign.
