That was a blatant professional foul from Parkinson.

You guys saying this must have seen different footage to the replays I saw. His shoulder literally smashes into the guy’s head. With force. Intentional force.

You don't get better examples of high tackles meriting a red card.

      Clear direct contact. Check.
      Reckless. Check.
      Avoidable. Check.
      High force. Check.
      Line of sight. Check. Unimpeded.
No sudden and significant drop or movement. Check.
Clear attempt to change height. Check. In fact Dixon started high and drove higher.

@bones Caused by Nareki running him off the ball.

Eh? End on footage clearly shows Heem veering in to Nareki running straight, then they go shoulder to shoulder and either Heem wins, or Nareki isn't careless and realises he's going to collide with a player in the air so veers off. Heem falls over due to not being able to lean on Nareki.

Falls over in the opposite direction of the guy he was trying to lean on?

From the side you can see shoulder coming up, glancing of shoulder. Lucky.

They called it secondary contact because it wasn't the first contact. But it was the first contact his shoulder (that was always going directly at the player's head) made, so it is a completely ridiculous interpretation of secondary contact.

TMO intervenes for that, but won't just before half time leading to 3 points?

Needs to be some consistency with when the TMO can and can't intervene.

Highlanders hanging in there. We could take this if we're lucky.

Blues should be up by 15+

PPP has been great in contact. He's ragdolled a few of the Blues loose forwards tonight. Not many do that.

Has done it to both Akira and Hoskins
