Should we take the new ball, when 80 overs roll round?
I’m thinking we will, no sign of Southee yet, and Boult only had a couple.
Keeping them fresh, and hopefully they can be a bit more accurate with it this time round.

Not me!
Colin helped us get a bit of control yesterday, when Timmy had sprayed it round and given the Indians a bit of a flyer.
Runs are going to be at a premium in this game - I reckon we might need every skerrick of batsmanship we have.

It's Day 3 right? How is anything other than a draw a reality?
With the spare day it's effectively only Day 2. But, play tomorrow doesn't look promising.

I'd like him to give them a bit of the short stuff as well, just to force them back in the crease. Who needs swashbuckling stroke play? This test cricket is compelling
I don't agree. That would leak some runs. I reckon we are doing very well starving them of runs. Even if we aren't taking wickets we are frustrating the hell out of them and they aren't progressing their score.
