What a ball from Shami. There’s a bit of similarity with Wagner and Shami. Both hit the crease hard. Not the biggest fellas and have that effort ball.

Just to add to our collective nerves, we have to score at a RR that neither team has scored at in the three innings so far…

Looks to be some of the best batting conditions though and need the lowest total.
Presumably at some point India won't be able to set optimal fields too which will help.

At what point do they start trying to dry up runs and play for the draw / force us to start facing the issue

It really depends at what point the next wicket falls. I agree though, promoting him and / or Southee could be an option for some quick runs if we have wickets in hand but are looking short of time

Yes we definately don't want Kane out there.

Yes we definately don't want Kane out there.
I wouldn't promote him above Kane, but he could come in above Rosco or Nichols if it looks like a quick 20 could really help but a quick wicket wouldn't hurt

He was keeping before.
He came off before the last wicket but he is still in te game per the radio broadcast.
The rules used to be a sub couldn't keep but they now can. A non issue anyway as Latham and Conway can keep to FC standard anyway.
