What a complete fucking shit show. Renaldo Mulitalo has been ruled ineligible for QLD lol.
The rules* state that a player must either be born in their chosen state or have resided there before the age of 13yo.....
He's represented QLD at age grade. It's fucking game day!!?!
*It's laughable that after years of questionable selections they finally decided to do something about it.

seriously though, like raz says, he played origin at lower levels and either no one knew, checked or cared..clearly a tip off and gamesmanship for sure, I wouldn't be surprised if he is allowed to play..but its would to f**k with their heads a bit.

Nah, fuck 'em. A New Zealander who moves too Queensland just short of his 14th birthday, a few years later plays for Cronulla's U18 side and stays with the club ever since, and elected to represent Samoa internationally is clearly not a Queenslander. They've been taking the piss since this started and I'm delighted to further decrease their "depth" to maximise the chance of a record defeat.

6-0 to NSW and no one even cares enough to post anything on here…..I think that sums up Origin to a tee these days.
Odd that it's on Sunday. I was always used to it being on Wednesday nights
I just scanned FB and not one gratuitous Origin related profile pic change either,

I have it on in the background. QLD playing like a pub team right now. I've never seen the Blues dominate Origin in this way

@mn5 nah tons of people I know in NZ are geared up for it.
I think it's because of Sunday sessions, family day etc and people aren't on here. Wife n kids have gone to the movies and my Sunday sesh consisted of a walk with the dog, washing the car and supermarket shop.
@mariner4life yeah pretty much what I expect and am seeing. The shit show that is the Broncos seems to have extended to the Qld. Greene isn't the coach they need. Hardly an origin legend not even really an NRL legend. Solid career but they need a legend OR Bellamy.

Maybe the bandwagon jumpers I know in NZ who wouldn’t know Townsville from the Gold Coast know their team are shite and have jumped off ? 10 years ago everyone was on about it, not now though.
