Suns go up 3-1 and should make the NBA Finals. Should.

Meanwhile, I agree that the short off season has had an effect on injuries especially to the more seasoned pros. But tough shit guys, this is where the rubber meets the road in terms of the players doing what needed to be done in order to have a near full season, and full bank accounts. Suck it up you poor millionaires, and STFU.

The Suns are looking very strong. Ayton and Booker have thrived in the playoffs, all of the other players are contributing significantly and CP3 is, well CP3

Missing clutch open jumpers and flopping to sell calls at the death you mean?

@voodoo haha, love the Reggie Jackson diss. Jackson rarely attempted that many shots in a game even when he was ball hogging in Detroit.

What about the 11 missed FTs from the Clippers! Playoff PG had more troubles there today.

It was an ugly game all round.

On the Suns, I don’t mind the team also, and I’ve said what I think about CP before. I like Bridges (even snagged a Nova 25 shirt a few years ago), Saric (liked him since he played for Philly), Booker, Payne, Cam Johnson, Craig

@voodoo the Suns may not need to be one of the greatest teams ever to with this comp this year. We should now make the finals and then all we need to do is win one more series. And that series could yet be against a team without an established superstar that we match up well against (my biggest worry would be Capela getting on top of Ayton).

But to add further context to the 20/21 Suns, they did finish #2 in the West and even though both the Lakers and Nuggets were missing key personnel, each still had their biggest star. Ayton and Booker continue to step up, Paul does Paul most games, and the depth is incredible with Crowder, Bridges, Payne, Johnson, Craig, Saric and Kaminsky in support.

@shark agree with all that, and l will probably root for you guys in the finals. I really like Booker, I have no great love for the Bucks, Atlanta I can take or leave

Fun to watch as a neutral for sure

I'm happy with either opponent in the finals (if we get there) but would be more worried about Giannis exploding in an overdue finals appearance than any other factor.

Bogdanovic is having a shocker. Can’t hit anything, even wide open ones.

    Wild

Playing just eight main guys in the rotation, the Clippers' legs looked drained. After playing 13 games in 25 days this month, the Clippers finished 0-for-12 in the fourth quarter on shots that could've tied the game or taken the lead. That's the most such attempts without a make in the fourth quarter of a playoff game over the past 25 postseasons, according to ESPN Stats & Information

Playoff PG came to play in the 2nd half.

    Good win by the Clips.

PG might have preferred to nail those FTs in the last game.

Giannis goes down hard clutching his knee. Hard to see the Bucks winning it from here if that's as bad as it looks.

Clint Capela with a Bird-esque shot with the shot clock expiring. Love it.

CP3 drops a 40-piece with zero turnovers to win an away close out game and defeat the evil empire death star Clippers (formerly the KD-Warriors). Love it.

If he wins his first ring in his 16th year in what is(was) viewed as a non-elite, non-main market team, it will be an amazing story.

Meanwhile the Bucks are in a massive scrap against the not-very-good Hawks. Giannis' knee hyperextension was horrible to watch in real time and he won't play Game 5.

So if the Hawks vs Bucks series goes the distance the Suns will have had 8 days off to review, rest, recover, and root the shit out of Kendall Jenner.

It’s been a long time between drinks. Happy for them. I went to a Suns game 5 years ago and the team was a joke, there was more in-fighting and drama than an episode of Big Brother, no problem getting tickets though!

    Congrats @shark
