@stargazer which shows how out of touch some laws are with the game.

What, so you're saying it should be ok too pull down a maul right in front of your try line?

100% if he had not done so, it would have been a try. Blatant and cynical foul play.

      Prinsep had the ball.

How is that different to someone coming through the maul legally and tackling the player with the ball.

Lmao Kirwan. Nothing cynical about a collapsed maul stopping a try from a couple of metres out?

You can't tackle someone in a maul, ball carrier or not

Intentionally collapse a maul or jump on top of it.
Attempt to drag an opponent out of a maul.

Their forwards aren't quite up to it, so far, but I'm liking Manu Samoa with ball to hand.

@taniwharugby so perhaps the ref should have discretion with penalty try and or yellow card? As the rule currently stands, seems to me the tackler knew what he was doing.

Laban not only thinks around a metre is half a centimetre, but also that 20m is within touching distance

                          Great try by Samoa

I personally think Hall is the third best halfback in NZ. I know that he isn’t the future but he could still be playing in 2023. Must be a good tourist as he’d probably just love to be there.
