@bones Didn't feel a thing.
Nothing beats experience.
Maybe I have had and awkward turtle before but they didn't call it that.
Well at least he didn't mention his shy bear.

This is just typical of you two. You take an innocent childish gesture designed to silently indicate an awkward situation and insert (snigger) your own deviant take on things.
Snowy had slightly embarrassed himself with an obvious comment (though I doubt he realises this) and I explained about the awkward turtle.
To explain further, the first time I saw this in use was when my mother-in-law had just died and her body was lying in the next room and we were all sitting around gloomily waiting for the body snatchers when in comes my extremely fat brother-in-law. There were few chairs available so he sat in a dining chair with arms. When the bell rang for the undertaker he got up to answer the door but unfortunately so did the chair as his arse was wedged inbetween the arms and he couldn't shake it off. No-one could really say anything or laugh out loud so my two daughters made the awkward turtle gesture. And there you have it. Nothing to do with the tortoise's head touching cloth, just an innocent way of acknowledging an awkward situation.

Sounds like someone had a bad day (not you Honey). Of course if we had known the story beforehand it would have made a little more sense. And yes I did know the comment about elephants and not so large women relative to elephants. Thanks for the tip though.

Orca biscuit got away didn't it? So no lunch?
Not like you to have something filmed in portrait in an "Awesome" thread.
-
@snowy I did say after some lunch, didnt say they got it
I have given up on that, I think when you buy a phone this is one thing they should point out to you, or maybe the phone should put up a text prompt saying "You realise you are filming in portrait mode, never film in portrait mode" or "Are you sure you want to film in portrait mode, only morons film in portrait mode" so I now blame Apple, Samsung etc.
-
@taniwharugby Or maybe just give you a shock if you are holding the phone upright. Patent it then suggest it in an email to Apple. Then Huawei will have it on their phones before Christmas.

I wanted a water feature to go next to my pool (if it ever gets built).
I have the answer.
Love to see you get that one signed off by the council
The "if it ever gets built" was reference to the council.
Plans been with them for about 12 weeks now, for a 3 week consent...
I still want that though. What a pool party trick!

@snowy fuck me, surely that's a good % auckland's daily water use in that money shot! you should link it on Watercare's FB page, then again they might consider it aqua porn!
It is aqua porn! Like that.
I'll catch it all and re use. I promise.
