@kiap Hmmm, the Western Force posted on their FB page an hour ago that the game won't be televised or streamed online. I'm a bit reluctant to click on that link ... Please, let us know if it's actually working, tonight.

It's going fast now. The Force have scored three tries since my previous post and they now lead 19 to 7.

Worryingly the scrum looked awful. Almost all other executuion points just come with playing together and not a bad first hit out. That kid Tanimo looks like an exciting prospect.

There seemed to be a fair bit of scrum practice at Blake Park this morning for the squad. 🙂

I watched the game last night and wasn't totally impressed. The Force completely dominated territory and possession for most of the game. The Bays set piece (as has been mentioned) wasn't flash and we showed little on attack.

It was a typical pre season game however with plenty of mistakes and player positional switches (at one stage we had two half backs playing and even Tanurau Latimar [the coach] played 10 minutes.) The rain didn't help and we were without several of the topline players so I'm not sure what can be read into it but it was nice to see some of the new players getting game time. As bayimports said we should get better by playing together more.

I understand the team is announced on the 27th and the next pre season game is against North Harbour next week.
