Ardie is for the lightweight teams starting........ but off the bench in the trench warfare vs England and the Boks.
Jacobsen and Akira are a terrific power combo vs the the Boks and England.

Savea is perfectly fine as a 7 at international level. The problem at the World Cup is he had next to no time in that position leading into the Semi Final and was surrounded by an aging Read who you could argue shouldn’t have been there anyway.
Bullshit that he’s not upto it against the bigger teams. Are you blind, he’s been dominant tonight and I wouldn’t say Fiji are small.
With Cane out all year it’s going to be hard bringing him back if Savea and Papali’i dominate.

It's his playing style.
Does not have dominant defence.
Good in other areas.@frank yeah but defence is all Cane has, he’s fairly limited in all other areas.
I think you can have Savea there if you have someone like Jacobsen at 8. It’s all about balance.
If they decide to pick Cane then they need someone like Sotutu at 8.
The thing that annoys me is that they seem to f up that loose forward balance when it matters most.
