Just had a look at this year’s Emmy nominations.
I expect to see a handful each for Ted Lasso, Mare of Easttown, Kominsky Method and Handmaids Tale.
A couple thrown at Mando to show they are hip.

I haven't got round to watching the latest season of Handmaid's Tale, has it got back to the standard of the first season?

Don’t think that matters for the Emmys but I can’t really help you. Not my thing. Never got into it.
@RL will tell you it is wonderful though

The first season was great, 2nd was ok, 3rd it just nosedived.

    Apparently it makes you cry.

    I don't get this reference.

Yeah Limetown ended up being pretty good eh. Quite interested to see where they take it, looks like S2 is just out.

Edit: Oh fuck, helps if I look at dates. Yeah they cancelled S2 apparently, but it's pretty fucken hard to figure out, especially when there's stuff like this floating about:

Oh, I’m not a tv crier, but clearly @R-L forgot to use the standard Fern tough guys “dust in the eye” to refer to her crying.

Finale of Mr. InBetween was awesome.
Love the scene between him and his former boss.
Scary and funny at the same time.

@frank very interesting ending, brilliant show!

Just found that this series was a spin off of a movie/mockumentary, The Magician.

Cheers. Not on Prime at the moment. Too many monthly subs going as it is (Sky, Neon, Netflix, VPN)

Might swap one out soon though. Neon is a bit dead at the moment.

It was useful before the rise in streaming services down in the SH, there is no need now.

The only show I want to watch, that I haven't been able to is the latest Fargo as it's not streaming here in Oz.

@nepia when somethign is on a platform I dont have, I might grab a couple eps from the bay to see if it is worth it (or some older movies/series that arent available elsewhere)

TBH, the main reason I don't download is that most of the sites are blocked in Oz without a VPN, and laziness gets the better of me - and there's a wealth of shows on the current streamers that I can watch.

Although, I do have a mate who runs a Plex server and if I asked he'd grab anything I wanted.

That was on SoHo in NZ, which has all of the HBO shows (later on Neon). Is there not an equivalent platform in Aust?

I received an email last week to say that my Apple TV+ subscription is about to end. I'll cancel and then wait until See has been released so I can watch that and Ted Lasso at the same time.

I get some downloaded content from a friend when older shows aren't available anywhere else.

Binge is the HBO channel, but Fargo isn't HBO, it's FX. The first 3 seasons are on Netflix, but the latests is only available to rent.

I haven't got my Apple TV cancellation yet.

@nepia OK. After checking, SoHo has shows from HBO, Showtime, FX, Sky UK, TNT etc, which makes it easier to watch in one place.
