The article kind of reads like they were justified investigations, where his ex-wife seems to think the last two not?

It's tough - mud sticks, and if the investigations aren't upheld, no one remembers that, just that the news is paraded all over the place.
Sounds like NZME were firing lawyers around as well, which is a bit shit really. Journalism in this country is a bit shit really, but horrific that it drove someone to that. Feel deeply sorry for people in this situation,

Yeah, I think some of these "journalists" need to consider the impact of their words.

While I have little respect for our (sports) media, and it's horrible what it lead Devlin to do to himself (and his family), he certainly knew how to dish it out himself, too.
I wish him all the best for his recovery.
