In the few minutes I watched of the game against Taranaki I noticed that Leuila was playing 2nd 5 and Coombes-Fabling at fullback.

I doubt that the newbies will be thrown straight in. If Waaka isn't available yet then Cook-Savage is the only other option and would cover 2nd 5, wing and fullback.

The squad does look a little light in the midfield with ALB and Tupaea in the ABs. I would select Sullivan at 2nd 5, but then there is a lack of options on the wing. Plenty of versatility with lock/loose forwards and midfield/outside backs.

That's why I will be interested to see who the Dev players are, as they would be the cover.

@bovidae No Latrell Smiler Ah Kong, I thought he'd be in the mix having shifted up from HB. I'm assuming Dom Hardman wil provide cover at Hooker. Will be interested to see if they add some midfield cover

I'm not sure what the deal is there. He was playing fullback for TA, but obviously is a 1st 5. I may be able to speak to someone on Sat to enquire.

Any ideas? Te Whare would be the obvious choice as he was playing centre in club rugby.
