Is every Australian athlete being bred from the same strain as Hoopah? I swear almost every Aussie I see at these games has their eyes about a millimetre apart.

I stayed in these same hotel as the Dutch field hockey team once in the Nehtherlands.

Many of them, are indeed, seriously seriously hot. On the flip side, the shortest one was about 6ft 1.

How is that a flip side?

Can't really complain. The Dutch were just so much better.

The previous women's hockey quarter-finals:
Germany 0 - 3 Argentina
Australia 0 - 1 India

The last quarter-final:
Spain v Great Britain (at midnight NZT).

Just watched the +86kg mixed weightlifting. Tbh I’m not really sure if Hubbard is out of place. It’s hard to even know what species these athletes are.

Edit. She’s gone. Seems she’s constantly plagued by injury, which isn’t surprising given her age and the event.
